Linking CSS to HTML trouble

Hello,

I seem to be stuck linking the CSS to HTML. I have the files in the same folder and I checked it for mistakes. For some reason the <h1> is not turning blue. I figured two eyes are better than one when spotting this silly bug. Thank you!

resume.html code: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title>Alexis Hay's Resume</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href"resume.css"> </head> <body> <img src="http://placeimg.com/200/200/tech" atl="Alexis Hay, Web Developer"> <h1>Alexis Hay, Web Developer</h1> <h2>Summary of Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</li> <li>Bachelor of Science, Criminal Justice</li> </ul> </body> </html>

resume.css code: h1 { color: blue; }

Hi Alexis!

You are missing an = for one thing:

<link rel="stylesheet" href"resume.css">

It should be:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="resume.css">

I hope that helps.

Stay safe and happy coding!

helped me too! thanks!
