List activity is giving me a blank white Layout

I am this tutorial, and did almost everything exactly as Ben did. The only things I didn't do the same are because I am using Android Studio :). What can I do to make the list work?

Are you sure you're populating the lists? ListViews end up being blank unless you populate them.
