List Code won't work - why not?

Why won't this code work?

how_many = [] while len(how_many) < 10: how_many.append = input(" enter something:..") print(how_many)

it does ask the user to input something, but then crashes.

Your append argument should be enclosed in parentheses. Try:

how_many.append(input(" enter something:.."))
