List style

Hi can a list-style property be added to either ul or li? Or does it depend on the rest of your code (maybe conflicts).

Thanks

Yes, here's an example:

<html>
<head>
<style>
ul.a {list-style-type: circle;}
ul.b {list-style-type: square;}
ol.c {list-style-type: upper-roman;}
ol.d {list-style-type: square;}
li.a {list-style-type: square;}  //rule for an li
</style>
</head>

<body>

<ul class="a">
  <li class="a">Coffee</li>  // Coffee will have a square
  <li>Tea</li> //Tea and Coca Cola will have circles
  <li>Coca Cola</li>
</ul>

</body>
</html>
