Listing Treehouse Coursework on LinkedIn

Is there a proper/universally acceptable way to list my Treehouse coursework on LinkedIn?

I don't know of any universal standard for listing Treehouse Coursework. For me, I just listed the tracks I completed under certifications. I'm not listing every course I've done on here, because I've done too many. So for me, tracks are the best ones to use. I'm sure there are people who have done it differently and I'm curious to know how they've done it.

Thank you for your answer. I was thinking about doing it that way. I was thinking about listing the courses also just in case people are not familiar with the Treehouse Tracks.

I second Samuel's reply.

An "official" connection would require Treehouse to register with LinkedIn as an education provider. There might be some issues with that:

  • a) LinkedIn charges Treehouse for this - maybe this might have to be some kind of upgrade or in-app purchase passed on to the user and
  • b) Treehouse courses and tracks are not currently accredited by any official body such as a State Board of Education, or by a 3rd party such as a partner university, as far as I know.

For me, the content of the courses is fine, and in many ways surpasses what I've seen from accredited providers, so accreditation could be a double-edged sword - it might feel more "official" but it might water down the way Treehouse teaches.
