8,616 PointsLive q & a + some general inconsistencies
I would love to see more of these live q & a from treehouse on different topics such as iOS / Android.
I am a little disappointed to see that treehouse is so much more focused on web that sometimes it seems to totally disregard the other topics, regardless of the fact that a new deep dive has been added and the ribbit tutorial launched.
It just seems to me that anything not web related moves slower and sometimes doesn't get any attention for weeks / month.
Not to mention the Treehouse show which utterly disregards anything that is not web orientated.
I fell in love with Treehouse from when I first accessed your website but I keep getting a strange feeling that at some topics or aspects things are not moving in the right way at all.

Treehouse Guest TeacherI'm not sure if you are aware but I have been doing one live stream a month. Last month was on UIViewController Transitions and the month prior to that was on iOS 7.
We do our best to turn out as much content as possible. Mobile content is generally slower to produce because one line of code sometimes requires three videos to explain. That's why we have even been recruiting outside teachers so that we don't slow down our content production.
Mobile content does not take a back seat. In fact, it's the one area where we have been consistently updating content in the last few months. Just in the last three months we have released: Objective-C Basics, How to Build a Simple iPhone app and Implementing Designs for iPhone

8,616 PointsAmit Bijlani thanks for the quick reply! I did not know about the video you made because it's a bonus content unlike the treehouse show.

Treehouse TeacherFor completeness, I'd also like to mention that The Treehouse Show intentionally showcases front-end design and development because it balances broad appeal with a narrow focus.
We could certainly create other show concepts in the future that focus on other topics, although we have no plans to at this time. Believe me, I'd love to see more iOS content, as I'm trying to learn it right now. :)
