Your code should be functional. The problem is that you went ahead and did something way more advanced than what the challenge was asking for. They only want you to log out the first and last player like this:

var players = ['Jim', 'Shawna', 'Andrew', 'Lora', 'Aimee', 'Nick'];

console.log(players[0]);
console.log(players[5]);
