Login System....PHP or Ruby on Rails?

Hi Everybody,

I am planing out to build a website where users will register and from there profile upload information, status, images, and other stuff.

My question is PHP or Ruby on Rails a good approach in creating a login system? Is there any benefits for using PHP or Ruby on Rails? I know more PHP.

Thanks Chris.

If you are more familiar with php, then I'd suggest you go with php. Both languages are good, each with it's own pros and cons. But at the end of the day, both are good options for what you want to do. So just go with what makes you most productive.
