Looking for a couple solid freelance designers.

We are looking for a couple solid designers to help add some horsepower to our team when in times of need. We like to build relationships with our contractors so you get to know us and we get to know you. So we can't guarantee that there will always be work coming from us, but when we need someone you'll be the first that we call. Right now we are just looking for a couple people to get to know and begin a relationship with.
What does solid mean? Basically that you know what you're doing, have confidence in your work, understand how strategy can influence design, and we don't have to explain to you how to export a psd to a jpeg :) It also helps if you understand designing for CMS implementation.
The workflow would typically be that we will have had several meetings with the client, have a strategy, and basic content architecture. We'll have a meeting with you to tell you about the client, what our strategy is, maybe some benchmark sites, and then you'll be on your own to give us back something spectacular. Typically we work in stages though, so you'd send us a homepage and we'd make sure everyone is on the same page as to the direction and we'd continue to move through the site from there.
You don't need to be able to code, though it wouldn't hurt if you knew some basic html/css/js to prototype your own designs. But we'd rather have you understand design more than be able to code. We can take care of prototypes.
