Looking for advice/guidance

Hello,

So I have almost completed my graphic design degree and I am now setting up my portfolio to hopefully gain employment.

I have done some research looking at the outlook for a graphic design career in 2016 and beyond and was disappointed in the salary of which was around £20,000 to £30,000!

I noticed that salary differs depending on different skill sets. Also I know that salary isn't the most important part of doing something you love but I love all disciplines of design and feel the best way to chose a discipline to specialise in is to chose the one that is in demand and pays well.

My question is: what is the industry like for you as a designer be that Graphic design, UI/UX design or package design ?

Thanks
