Looking to start up a new design site. Anyone want in?

So I'm thinking of starting a new project on the side, a site that sells premium blog and forum themes and gives away simple free ones. Since working on a project on your own is pretty boring, I was wondering if there was someone around here who would like in on something like this. It would be a good way of putting your name out there as a designer and you may make a little cash on the side too. =)

Just let me know if you're interested and we can send a few emails back and forth.

Hey, i am interested in this want to see me and email with a bit more information of what role you are looking for someone to do. Is it just the PSD design side or code side etc? Dan-croft@hotmail.co.uk

Maximino Cosme - I'd be interested in this. Email me matthew@globotek.net

I'm interested in writing code, I have extensive experience in writing responsive WP themes. paul@bytefair.com

I would be very interested. I have studied some web design(not here at TH) and I'm on going with programming RoR.

I am new to web design but have worked on some sites. I believe the best way to learn is by experience so I would like to help on the simple free themes at first. Email: contact@mohsinanwaar.com

No one is too late for an email. ;D Thank you guys for your replies.

To be clear, this isn't meant to be a business or to provide anyone with any kind of stable income. What I'm thinking is of simply providing a place for inexperienced designers and developers to showcase their work, to provide them with a place to put their name out there in the industry, and maybe make a little extra cash if someone's willing to pay them for their work.

Of course, I know the old adage, "If you're good at something, never do it for free." but it can be difficult to put together a portfolio without a project to commit to, to find people interested in your work, and to market yourself. This way, all who want can come together to share code, advice, experience, designs, plugins, and maybe even find a client or two while you're there.

Now, if anyone remains interested, I still welcome dialogue. =) Thank you all for your interest in this.

I think it's a great idea just because a lot of newcomers have hard time finding a opportunity to work and to receive an portfolio. To get the chance of working in a team and improving as a programmer/web designer is great!

im interested. i just need an experience as a designer and developer. i hope im not too late. blackrevolution.x@gmail.com

I'm interested as well! I'd love to gain some experience working on real projects.
