Looking to starting a weekly Masterminds

Hi all,

I'm loving the material here on Treehouse and I'm putting a call out there to see if anyone is interested in meeting up over the phone or google hangouts to do a masterminds once a week. If you have goals you're trying to reach and won't mind accountability or bouncing ideas off other people who are also learning to code, reply below and we can exchange info.

I'm thinking we'd limit the meeting to no more then an hour, but depending on how many people join it could be an even smaller commitment.

Cool @Karthikeyan Palaniswamy. That's a fast response. Looking forward to meeting up and I'm open to seeing if other people join too. For now, we can see what the most convenient way of connecting would be for you.

Let me know what of the following would be your most preferred communication method:

  • Video: Google Hangouts, Skype Video
  • Voice: Phone, Skype voice or
  • Text: Email, or Chat or
  • Other

Also, if you had specific ideas of what you wanted to get from the weekly meetings feel free to share!

@Jason Data Thanks for your quick response as well. I prefer Skype Video and Google Hangouts. In weekly meetups, I'd love to share my projects I am working on now, love to hear other participates ideas & story, love to give and get feedback and help participates if they need some help.

All in all, weekly meetups are amazing thing to talk about things you love.

Cool, well it looks like so far it's just us, but I'll leave it open just in case other people want to join.

I like the idea of talking about projects and stuff too. I didn't think about his, but my internet connection will be a bit variable because I'll be on the road. However, the next couple day's I'm free anytime because I'm just moving, so if you're free we can have our first meet up. Either way, let me know a couple times that would be most convenient for you to meet and I'll see what I can work with.

Great! You definitely should try google hangouts bc the screen share is really good if you have a good internet connection. What time would you be available Daniel?

This sounds like a great idea! While I do have the desire to learn all about coding, I feel that I would move a bit faster if I had others to work with. I have a personal goal of getting a job in the tech industry and moving out as soon as possible. While I have many other things to accomplish, my main and primary focus it just being good enough at web design that I can get noticed.
