Python Introducing Lists Build an Application Multidimensional Musical Groups

Loop through multidimensional lists and combine with comma space separator

I'm looking to find out how I can loop through each group and join together the members

groups.py
musical_groups = [
    ["Ad Rock", "MCA", "Mike D."],
    ["John Lennon", "Paul McCartney", "Ringo Starr", "George Harrison"],
    ["Salt", "Peppa", "Spinderella"],
    ["Rivers Cuomo", "Patrick Wilson", "Brian Bell", "Scott Shriner"],
    ["Chuck D.", "Flavor Flav", "Professor Griff", "Khari Winn", "DJ Lord"],
    ["Axl Rose", "Slash", "Duff McKagan", "Steven Adler"],
    ["Run", "DMC", "Jam Master Jay"],
]
# Your code here

print("Groups:")
for group in musical_groups:
    ", ".join(group)

Hi Nathaniel

You are on the right track, just a few corrections:

for group in musical_groups:
    print(", ".join(group))
  • You don't need to print the label Groups out before the for-loop
  • Just add a print statement before the join()-method

Hope this helps!
