PHP CRUD Operations with PHP Creating Records Reading Data

Loop through the PDOStatement Object returned by the function and display both the podcast 'title' and podcast 'website'

Good day,

Can anyone assist.

I am getting the following message:

Bummer! I do not see all the podcasts.

index.php
<?php
function get_podcasts() {
    include 'connection.php';

    //add code here
    try {
      return $db->query('SELECT * FROM podcasts');

    } catch (Exception $e) {
          echo "Error!: " . $e->getMessage() . "<br />";
          return false;
    }

    foreach (get_podcasts() as $podcast) {
        echo "<li>" . $podcast['title'] . " " . $podcast['website'] . "</li>"; // I tried putting $item instead of $podcast and get the same message
    }
}

Hi, you are nearly there! Just put foreach block outside the function get_podcasts() and echo opening and closing <ul> tags around foreach loop.

<?php
function get_podcasts() {
    include 'connection.php';

    //add code here
    try {
      return $db->query('SELECT * FROM podcasts');

    } catch (Exception $e) {
          echo "Error!: " . $e->getMessage() . "<br />";
          return false;
    }
}

echo '<ul>';
foreach (get_podcasts() as $podcast) {
        echo "<li>" . $podcast['title'] . " " . $podcast['website'] . "</li>";
    }
echo '</ul>';

Thanks Martin
