Losing progress?

How come every time I finish a segment in the JavaScript Foundations lesson, it doesn't save my progress? I finish a segment, close the browser for the day, come back and all my progress is lost. What the heck is up with that? It doesn't happen in the other lessons?

This you should contact treehouse support with. However, if you're referring to challenges, if you don't complete a challenge, it will not continue where you've left of at in your next session; same goes with videos.

April, out of curiosity are you using the Treehouse app? If so, I think they are working on a solution for that. Sorry about the trouble there.

I'm using Chrome.

Ahh, that's weird. Well, make sure that you're watching the videos all the way through, and it should save your progress. Otherwise, are you saying that it doesn't show quizzes and code challenges as being completed?

P.S. cuckoo is correct—you have to complete a challenge or quiz all the way through for it to save.

I go through the entire video until it pops p the green button to go to the next one. I complete the coding steps. I even got the pop up with the badge the first time I went through. But the moment I step away, it pretends I've never been there.

That is odd. According to your profile the last two badges you earned are Ruby Methods (Ruby Basics) & Ruby Numbers (Ruby Basics). If you're saying you've completed more than that, we might have to have support look into your account. Once again, sorry about that, and I'm sure they'll get it worked out for you!

Yeah, I sent them a note and am waiting for them to get back to me.They were pretty snappy about that last time I needed an assist, so I'm optimistic that I'll be back to work soon. Thanks!

Am encountering the same issue.. very annoying! First thought it was an issue that had to do with me watching the course at 2x speed, but at 1.5 the same thing happens. Just contacted support about it.
