General Discussion

Mac App development?

I think it would be excellent if Treehouse offered courses for Mac OS X application development. I feel there is a lack of resources on the internet for learning this platform especially with the new Swift language. I think we should raise awareness on this topic.

Noah Schill , I too think a Mac App development track would be nice, but the do teach Objective-c and Swift in the context of ios and both languages are used for Mac development as well. If you don't already know these languages, those two tracks might help.

ericb2 , Is cocoa touch and cocoa similar enough that they transition over smoothly?

Noah Schill , I know nothing about transitioning between cocoa touch and cocoa. My comment was intended to suggest that since both api's use Swift and Objective-C, learning the language on treehouse, even if in the context of an api/os your not so interested in, will get you part way to were you want to be. Sorry if I gave the impression that I know more than I do.

ericb2 no worries man! Thank you for your advice!
