Treehouse TeacherHey everyone! I think I can help answer some of these questions with a little more insider info. :)
We are going to offer Machine Learning Basics in 2018, but we have some content to build first. As you might expect, we want to do it in an approachable and comprehensive way. There's a TON to learn or investigate about Data Science and Machine Learning, and we want to make it easy to follow specific tracks based on your skills or needs.
As soon as we have more detailed plans, we will add them to the public roadmap. In the mean time, there's plenty you can start working on to build up the skills needed to learn Machine Learning with Python.
Here's a list that might help. You don't necessarily need to follow this order, but this covers a lot of the basic skills needed to work with data in Python, which is the foundation for how we will teach Machine Learning:
- Python Basics
- Python Collections
- Object-Oriented Python
- Using Databases in Python
- Python Testing
- Data Analysis Basics
- Set Up a Local Python Environment in Windows | Mac
- CSV and JSON in Python
- Introduction to Anaconda
- Jupyter Notebooks
- Introduction to Data Visualization with Matplotlib (coming soon)
- Cleaning and Preparing Data (coming soon)
- NumPy Basics (coming soon)
- Introduction to pandas (coming soon)
- Data Visualization with Bokeh
We also just published Build a Chatbot with Watson APIs, which is a great way to utilize machine learning tools from IBM as simple API calls.
Lastly, we recently circulated a survey about Machine Learning, so if you haven't filled it out yet, please do so and help us understand what y'all are looking for!

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 56,488 PointsAs far as I know, there are no machine learning courses yet.
The Learn Python track is great and will teach you the basics of Python, and get you ready to learn more afterwards. Just make sure you take your time when you go through it, and you'll be off to a great start. There is a lot more to learn even after completing the track, but I think that the knowledge you'll have after completing it (As long as you take your time and try to apply what you learn on mini-projects of your own) will be sufficient to get started in learning and introducing yourself to machine learning.
Just remember that you will get stuck, and that machine learning is an area under rapid development right now, but it is ok to get stuck :)
I hope that helps!

796 PointsSir isn't there a high scope for machine learning in future?

stjarnan
Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 56,488 PointsWhat exactly does high scope mean? I am sorry, English is my second language so I am always learning.
If you meant that the demand will be high, yes it certainly looks like that.
