Make my form text boxes all the same size

I'm trying to create a contact page for my website, and I created a form. You know with table>form>inputs... But how do I create them so the width is the same as the message box (textarea). I'm assuming some css will solve this problem.

textarea {
    width: Xpx;
};

input[type="text"] {
    width: Xpx;
};

should work
