Making the homepage unresponsive

Hi

Can anyone direct me on how to remove the responsive design from the homepage? The page has a large picture and responsive design takes away from the look of the homepage. The rest of the site is responsive and I would like for it to stay that way.

Thanks,

Davina

I think it's better to improve the homepage to look better in a responsive way than to break the responsiveness of the homepage. What you're asking to do is not advised. Maybe if we saw an example of what you were mentioning there could be an alternative solution that keeps it responsive and retains the feel that you're mentioning.
