Mamp server keeps dropping connection

I am currently running yosemite with MAMP but when i run an sql query and it returns false for some reason it drops the connection and tells me the server is busy and to check the connection again i was wondering if anyone else having this problem ? Its preventing me from doing the mysql course and is very annoying as i can't debug it :(.
