What is how it works etc.. Management information systems?

I have to write some information about it but im not sure what it is. Or what should i write.

Yes, but that tells me a little bit. Since we are in technology, i asked it at treehouse as well.

There isn't much information about it in WIKI, or at least, i found more somewhere else, but it's not enough.
