Managing site after it is live

Hi,

I have a few tweaks to do on my code, but my site is live. Do I go through and change it and then re-do the FTP? Or is there an easier way? Hosting through the student hosting.

The best way is to develop locally or to have a staging site. Otherwise mistakes are viewable immediately no chance to debug first.

Good options for staging simple sites:

Oh yea, thats totally a fair answer. I always check locally before the FTP so I didn't even think about that.

Make the tweaks you need, and then just ftp the changed files. That's really the easiest way, and honestly, the only way I trust. :D
