margin and padding

i can't understand the difference between margin and padding, and the visible differences in my preview

Hey Miguel!

The difference between margin and padding is that padding is the space between the border and the content, where as margin is the area of space that lies outside of the border. This link should provide a good visual comparing the two: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5958699/difference-between-margin-and-padding

Hope that helps!
