Mark Course Videos as "Watched"

Hi TreeHouse!

I have an odd question. I'm watching the Treehouse courses mostly on iTunes or on my iPhone on the go via the Podcasts app. When I get home, I log in to my Treehouse account on my Mac and take the challenges. My problem is that when I'm on a Track, I complete the challenges, I also obtain all the desired points for completion, but I can't mark the watched videos (watched via iTunes feed) as "watched". This is a big problem, because I can't advance to the next course without completing the current one. So my question is: could you implement a way to mark videos as "watched" in case someone watches them on iTunes feed? So the progress would grow and the next course would unlock automatically...

Thanks,

Aaron.

I think you can watch any course you like.

For Example I'm doing the Web Developer Track.

If I for example want to watch the course Develop a WP plugin (the last course of the track that requires all the other courses to be watched before) from the Track I cannot.

But if I find that course directly in the Library/WordPress than I can.

Hope it helps - at least till the day your idea to have videos viewed on iTunes marked as "watched".

Maja, thanks for your quick answer. I'll use Treehouse the way you suggested then. Anyway, I think my suggestion would be a really useful function for the users who take tracks as their way of studying.

I agree.

I agree. This is required. Kind of annoying when you want to see your progress through the tracks. They have the iTunes podcasts features so it should somehow be integrated to mark as completed on their website. Or at least let us manually mark it. Otherwise, you are forced to rewatch the videos which defeats the purpose.
