6,555 PointsMASSIVE HELP FOR ALL DEVELOPERS -- *2 Chrome Extensions*
Hey all... so anybody through the projects and deep dives knows how much refreshing we have to do... it sucks.
I found 2 plug-ins that saved my life.
1) "RELOAD ALL TABS" -- does what it says. 1 button that reloads all tabs in your chrome window. - really nice after a save, if your browser opens before your internet connection kicks in, or any number of other uses.
2) "LIVE CSS MOD" -- this is TRULY the best thing ever. Every time you save the HTML/CSS file you're working on, it reloads the browser tab for you. -- this is SUCH a life saver.
HOWEVER -- to work, it requires that you have MAMP or XAMPP installed, and that your file is navigated-to from the localhost.
Incorrect: Users/someguy/desktop/dev-folder/project2/index.html
Correct: localhost:8888/project2/index.html
Do you have favorite productivity tools for dev?

Treehouse TeacherThe LiveReload extensions are pretty awesome too –– no MAMP / XAMPP necessary :)

6,555 PointsNEAT! that looks better... $10 is pretty good for a price (given how much time that would save).
Maybe I'll switch.
@gul - it said that it works with WP, etc. -- have you used it for that? (Example: if I go into a theme on my localhost, and go to the Appearance >> Edit, to change some css or custom functions for example... when I hit the WP save button, it will also reload?)
That would be nice. very nice.

Treehouse Teacher@Alexander -- Sure does. Check this out.
I haven't used with WP yet –– just with Sublime Text 2 plugin.

2,191 PointsI have been using mixture.io lately instead of LiveReload and I love it so far. It makes it easy to quickly start a simple project and also provides Live Reloading in the browser by creating a local server. What I love about it is that I can access this local address on my mobile devices and they also live reload upon saving in Sublime Text. It makes RWD a lot less painful.
