master detail template and android studio

how do I create a master detail template in android studio? Im in the blog reader phase of my track...Andoid development... I started learning on Android studio. This lesson,exploring the master detail template, talks about using eclipse. I read a number of peoples post saying its no big deal to go directly to this lesson even though andoid studio is not taught, eclipse is the ide taught. I feel stuck here. I tried doing it on my own without going to the forum but Im not sure how to proceed. do I need the master detail template to continue on? If i do what do I do? If I dont how should I proceed with the lesson? Im very confused.....help

Try going to Android tools lessons first, hope that helps with your problems with the IDE
