mate hello.rb "No such file or directory"

I have a doc named hello.rb on my desktop. When I type mate hello.rb, it says "No such file or directory"

Then I type hello.rb and I get (LoadError)

  • bash command not found.

Help?

Change your directory in your prompt to your desktop. It may help to the do or review the "Console Foundations" course located here: Console Foundations
