how can i round a number downward as asked by the question bellow:
Open an alert dialog a second time and display the temperature variable rounded downward to the nearest integer (hint: down is toward the "floor".)
var temperature = 37.5;
alert(Math.round(temperature));
alert(Math.roundfloor(temperature));

will drop a number down to the nearest integer, regardless of the decimal point. I.e., both Math.floor(37.2)
and Math.floor(37.99999)
will both return 37
.

alert(Math.floor(temperature));
