Math.round with alert not passing

is it due to my syntax with the alert?

script.js
var temperature = 37.5;
alert  = 'Math.round(temperature)';

Hi Bryan,

your alert should look like this...

alert( Math.round( temperature ) );

You use the = sign when assigning values to variables like temperature. alert can be called with or without a variable but ultimately is a function and needs brackets with a value inside to function properly. :)

Hope this helps,

Adam
