Message is not defined console error

I'm using the exact same code, but my preview doesn't execute document.write. Console says "Uncaught ReferenceError: message is not defined at scripts.js:3". How come?

Something might not be exactly the same. To facilitate analysis, make a snapshot of your workspace and post the link to it here.

Javascript sensitive, perhaps you misspelled message: Message (with capital M) is not the same as message (with lowercase m). A screenshot or the code would help.
