metadata rejected in ios

Hello all, this is the second time I have had to upload my app to the app store team for review and both times it was rejected because of metadata giving me a prompt in the resolution center saying my screenshots don't reflect the functionality of my app (3.3). My question is: what is the screenshot used for? What should I do to make my screenshots reflect the functionality of my app? Thank you in advance!

Screenshots are literally just screenshots of your app. So if your app only has one screen then I would simply add a screenshot of just that one screen. Here's a great article on screenshots: http://designboost.net/how-to-design-iphone-screenshots-that-sell/

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I see! I thought the screenshot to be something completely different than what it actually is. Thank you!
