Android Build a Simple Android App Improving Our Code Adding an App Icon

mipmap

So in the mipmap after I downloaded the files it shows both the old icon files and the new ones. I try to delete the old one but I get a message saying.

file ic_launcher_round.png has 1 usage that is not safe to delete When I view the source it shows

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" package="fatzombieproductions.funfacts">

<application
    android:allowBackup="true"
    android:icon="@mipmap/ic_launcher"
    android:label="@string/app_name"
    android:roundIcon="@mipmap/ic_launcher_round"
    android:supportsRtl="true"
    android:theme="@style/AppTheme">
    <activity android:name=".FunFactsActivity">
        <intent-filter>
            <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />

            <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
        </intent-filter>
    </activity>
</application>

I am using Version 2.3.2 and was wondering the workaround for this.

I figured it out. I had two android: trying to call the icon and the default was winning. I just deleted it then it worked!
