Missing .iml file for 2018 version of IntelliJ
I was wondering if anyone is coming across the issue of a missing .iml file when following the video around the 3:15 mark? I'm running 2018.1.5 community edition. I don't know if there has been major updates to IntelliJ since the video was posted but if anyone has a solution, it would be much appreciated.
IntelliJ IDEA creates an .iml file for its own internal use. It's not part of a Java project so as long as you can run the program properly, you needn't worry about it. (No professional git repo should ever contain an .iml file in fact. If you look at .gitignore files for Java, you'll usually see its exclusion there.)
