Mixins and extending selectors (Sass)

Am i right, that there is no point to use mixins without parameters, cause we have extending selectors?

1 Answer

Not quite. Extending has its limitations, like not being able to extend from within a media query, for one. It also groups selectors, which may not necessarily be what you're wanting.

Mixins are much more flexible, so it's likely if you can't do something with an extend, you'll want to use a mixin.
