16,334 PointsModern Web Design Workflow (PSD/Mock-up to HTML5 and CSS3) Course Recommendations?
Hi Guys,
Besides the great courses on Treehouse, I was interested in finding out if anyone has any recommendations for other courses focusing on coding an existing mock-up of a web site/application.
If anyone has any suggestions then great!
Many Thanks, Tom

16,334 PointsHi Jovanny,
Great response! Yeah, ideally it would be nice to see a course or perhaps a 'Track' where you would start off by Wireframing > Protyping > etc.
Basing something like this around a fictional business and brief, would be great! This could show a modern workflow in the industry and really answer some good questions.
Thinkful looks good, hopefully you will be able to get your monies worth which I'm sure will :)
I've seen a few on Udemy, there's one I will probably purchase although quite a few seem more a beginner level.
Thank you for help! Tom

16,204 PointsHi tom I have actually been doing a lot of research on this I found one course that I will be starting next week. Thinkful for me was the number one choice as it included sessions with a mentor whom can teach you and guide you along the way to get you on the right path. One of the hardest things for me was not having that mentor to help me out in going where I want to go. From what I have read your time with your mentor is spend however you want so if you had an idea in mind and wanted to start developing it you would have that mentor to help you out along the way.
thinkful pairs you up with a mentor who can fit your goals which to me is what is missing from treehouse and other online courses. I love treehouse but its missing that part of a class room experience if you will being able to ask questions and getting help when you need it. It is a bit expensive$500 a month but its also cheaper than going to college or going to a boot camp.
another great site to find courses is on udemy I have purchased a couple of them and found them to be very useful. you can find courses starting at $5 or sometimes free. Each course is full of student reviews and they all have a money back grantee.
Good luck and let me know what you think of it.
