Modify the "create_shopping_list" method to return a hash with the following keys and values:

def create_shopping_list
hash {
"title => "Grocery list",
"items => []
return hash
end

How come this wont work?

1 Answer

Just incorrect syntax:

  def create_shopping_list
    hash = { "title" => "Grocery List", "items" = [] }
    return hash
  end

You were just missing the = operator and the closing parenthesis for the hash }

Also, watch your indentation - it's important.
