Hey MOD's (yah, I know I'm one, I need your advice), There seemes to be something strange about the best answer for this post. Should I do something about it?

25,370 PointsHmm well that's odd. I didn't know users could best answer their own answers on their own questions. Hopefully Treehouse disables this soon, because it seems like you get the 12 points as well for doing this.
I'd suggest to award it to whoever was the first person to post the correct answer.

Treehouse Moderator 145,862 PointsI'm not sure what I would do about that. Clearly that is not the "best answer."
I did know that users can "best answer" their own answers, and I've even seen some mods suggest the user does that if the user solved their own questions... posted their solutions... and there were NO other answers. I mostly agree with this, because then people in the forum know the question has been resolved. But this one??? I don't think so.
I'm thinking you should email the Community Manager or Support for an official opinion. IDK?

Courses Plus Student 7,254 PointsI can't remember any specific ruling on something like that. I would leave a comment there for the original poster letting them know the real intent for marking a response as the "best" answer. I would then wait a couple of days to see if they would make the change themselves. If not, I think it would be fair to change it.

Treehouse Moderator 37,862 PointsReally wired, I got an e-mail saying that I had been awarded best answer for the post, but when I looked at it it is still showing the other person has it.
