most effective way to advertise my services

Hello,

I have almost completed my degree in Graphic design and now want to start freelancing to gain experience and most importantly full my portfolio with client work.

I am really struggling to find clients, I don't know where to start!

My services:

Brand design Website design/ui design

Web development: HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, Wordpress

I also offer hosting

What is the most effective way of advertising services like these ?

I'm a big fan of gathering a bouquet of flowers from those closest to you. Meaning, a great way to start to grow your business will be to get your first few clients from people you already have a relationship with, and incentivize them for referrals to people they know.
