Movies playing in slow-mo

Anyone else run across movies playing in slow mo? While hilarious to watch Gil slllooowwwwlllyyy teeeaccch, it's a bit much. Noticed in chrome on both win and mac. Internet speeds are fine.

Could you please provide more specific information, such as:

  1. Which movies (please provide the exact title, so others can check; also, is there a certain point in the videos where they get slow? If so, please provide the timestamp).
  2. You mentioned using Chrome. Have you tried using any other browsers?
  3. Have you made sure your computers are fully updated, including browsers, and plugins? And that there are no antivirus or firewall settings that might be blocking the videos?
  4. Are you noticing any other slowness, excessive heat, fans, or other issues with playback from other video sites, like YouTube?
  5. Have you tried restarting your computer?

I don't work for Treehouse, but I've been involved in IT support for years, and these are some of the common issues that I've seen. It might be something else, but these would be a good place to start, if you haven't. The main thing is to provide as much detail about which videos they are, so that it's easier to try to reproduce the issue.
