Moving ahead in a track?

Hello, I just started the ruby on rails development track. The first step is the how to build a website, and it won't let me skip ahead to the programming stage. I already know html and css, and I just want to get ahead and start the ruby portion of this track. Am I able to skip ahead some how?

Not really no, Tracks are a defined course sequence like you'd find in a school.

However, you don't have to experience Treehouse's content as a track you can experience it a la carte (as it were) via the Library button.

> This course is locked. To unlock this course, you must first complete the courses in the preceding tier. Alternatively, you may take this as a standalone course off-Track.

Only by watching the course you want in Library rather than on a track.

Hi Raven Avalon.

You can jump ahead: click the name of the course -- "Installing a Ruby Development Environment" -- at the bottom of the "card" in the track.

I don't believe accessing a course this way works with the Resume Track button nor will ever reach the Track Completion at the bottom.
