Multi language Wordpress

I have a site to do in wordpress. The site is bilingual (english and french) but I don't know how to do it. What is the simplest way (I don't want to google translate the site. Both language need to be 'perfect')? Any suggestion?

you should always start with the codex:

per the codex you should look into using a plugin that will help you. I never had to create a multi languge site so I would do some research on which plugin is best for your needs.
