multiple animation sequences

in the lessons you added a single animaiton to a div is it possible to add multiple animation sequences to an element? in flash i used to have multiple layers where each could have its own keyframe animation i tried the following but it did not work -webkit-animation: rock-side-a 3s ease-in-out infinite, shrink-side-a 2s infinite; another question is playing each of these sequences simultaneously vs in sequence on after the other how would I do that?
