My Android 4.4 Emulator not working!

Hi,

I'm rather new at Java coding. So I decided to follow some basic tracks, I started making the 'Crystal Ball' app, Once I was told to run the emulator by the video, I did so, but my one did not open, and said it failed under the console.

This is what is said under the console:

[2014-03-05 11:36:30 - Emulator] Please contact the application's support team for more information. [2014-03-05 11:36:45 - Emulator] WARNING: Data partition already in use. Changes will not persist! [2014-03-05 11:36:45 - Emulator] WARNING: Cache partition already in use. Changes will not persist! [2014-03-05 11:36:45 - Emulator] Failed to allocate memory: 8 [2014-03-05 11:36:45 - Emulator] [2014-03-05 11:36:45 - Emulator] This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. [2014-03-05 11:36:45 - Emulator] Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Can someone please help me?

Hi Jona,

Is the app running on other AVDs? Open the AVD manager and try starting the AVD from the manger to be sure it was properly setup. If the app runs well on other AVDs and the 4.4 AVD runs by itself, then restarting Eclipse and the AVD might fix the issue.

Thank you very much for your reply, in the end, I found out it was something to do with the AVD's. I have now managed to fix it! :) And yes, ill stay focused on my coding as well as school work!
