My Android Studio Just won't work on my Mac. What is the problem ???

Hello, I just joined the Android Studio Development Track and I tried to download Android Studio on the link but it's just not working it keep saying SDK is missing. So I downloaded Android Studio from the link, Java SE development Kit, and I even checked if Java was even installed on my terminal and It said I had java version 1.8.0_92. I can't even start new project and I seriously would love to get on going on my development track. Please Help.
