My avd manager and sdk manager wont detect java. I have installed 64bit version of jdk and tried all sort of things.

I tried hardcording the java location to find_java.bat it still doesn't solve the issue. When i tried to run the find_java64.exe from the command line it's not getting detected?

I tried running find_java.bat from the command prompt it doesnt detect find_java.exe. I can't understand why

I may be completely off in this suggestion, but I want to try to help. I had a ton of trouble with getting Android Studio to play nicely with Java on my computer.

I use a MacBook Air, and I could not get my JDK to be recognized by Android Studio until I saved it to my library located just beneath my Mac HD on the file directory. That is, it is located at Computer -> Macintosh HD -> Library -> Java.

I'm sorry I don't have better terms to use, I'm new to tech speak. If I have been completely useless on this answer, I will include this link to known issues on the android site.

I hope I was of some help, if not I apologize, and I wish you the best of luck in solving this problem!

Thanks for your comment. But it didn't work yet. I can see where the problem is from the command prompt window. When i try to run find_java.bat it doesn't recognize find_java.exe
