PHP PHP Basics PHP on the Web Date Function

My code and output looks correct but it keeps saying, "Bummer! You must use the built-in date function.

Please help me. I can not figure this out.

Hi Dennis,

Here's what's going on:

  • You are missing a semicolon after the function
  • You have a space between your function name and the opening parentheses, system doesn't like that.

Try it like this:

echo 'Today is ';
//Place your code below this comment
echo date('F d, Y');
?>
