Why doesn't work my code?

loops.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
      newValue = numbers[counter]
      sum = sum + newValue
      counter += 1

Hi Emilio -

I believe you are overthinking this one, go back and reread the challenge. I will give you a hint you will only need one line in your code

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
    sum +=  //I started it see if you can figure out the rest 
    counter += 1

}
