Python Functions, Packing, and Unpacking Getting Info In and Out of Functions Functions with Arguments and Returns

My code doesn't work, but it works perfectly fine in pycharm.

I don't get why it doesn't work, it works fine in pycharm.

creating_functions.py 
def hello_student(name):
    print('Hello' + name)

name = input('What is your name?  ')
hello_student(name)

Be careful when testing challenges externally. Your IDE has no idea what the objective is and can appear to work "perfectly fine" even if the code doesn't meet it.

In this case, the challenge asked for a function that would return the combined string, but this code prints it instead and returns nothing.
