Python Functions, Packing, and Unpacking Getting Info In and Out of Functions Functions with Arguments and Returns

my code works but its not passing the the task.

i also got tried this:

def hello_student (name):
    print ("hello " + name)

hello_student("mohan")
creating_functions.py
def hello_student(name):
    return "hello " + name

print(hello_student(mohan))

it was missing the quotation marks. either the code works but its not passing the challenge.

def hello_student(name):
    return "hello " + name

print(hello_student("mohan"))```

The most recent code you posted is closest. However you are missing two things:

1) For task 1 the H in Hello should be capitalized

2) For task 2 instead of printing, assign the result of the function to a variable named hello
