Use this google search to determine how to set a "Default Program" or "Default App" on a windows machine: https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+select+program+to+open+a+file

Scan the results of the search to find the windows version you are using: e.g., Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, etc.

Follow the instructions provided.

normally you are using a text editor that does not support that language, if needed i recommend VSCode or Atom. Happy Coding?.
